Question: Why would a guy buy 12 roses and split them between his mom and girl money is not an issue. on valentine day?

Maybe he wanted to share them with both of you with love in his heart but didn't realize that you would find it puzzling and I don't think that he meant to do a head scratcher over this. If he's close to his mom look at it as very endearing b/ c if a mama's boy does this he really likes you.

6 or 12 is still a bunch of roses. If you can make more people happy, why not? With 12 roses, I can make a dozen girls happy.

A boys first love will alway be his mom, his girl or wife is his second love, but with one heart so he purchased one dozen to represent one love between his mom and his girl.

Because he wants to be dumped! lol no but he probably got them for his mom and then once he got them to the house said "oh sh*t! I forgot to get some for my girl friend! " but didn't want to go back to the store so he just split them. (yes I said mom and not girlfriend on purpose!

My ex did not do this same exact but he did something similar when giving me flowers on Valentine's Day. If money is not the issue then he is just a cheapskate and/ or doesn't think you are worth spending on or just wants to keep money for himself.

It's probably something simple that may make sense to him but not to you. Did you ask him? Maybe the roses symbolized his heart to him. He might have wanted to give half of his heart to you and half of his heart to his mother. Maybe they only had one dozen of roses left. Maybe he bought them for you, but then realized he forgot to get his mother some. So he just decided to be thoughtful and give his mother half of them. There could be a lot of reasons that he split them up. Why does everyone throw out "He's a cheapskate " right away. You know him better then anyone here, is he really a cheapskate? If he is indeed a cheapskate then there's no getting around it. But if he is a genuinely a nice guy something like what I have above could indeed have happened. Possibly because it was valentines day and the florist was very busy and he bought the last dozen they had left and wanted to make the two woman in his life happy but one woman has to rain on his parade.better 1/ 2 dozen than none at all. stop being a winey little bitch and appreciate what you have. its woman like you that make us guys do some of the things you all hate.
