Last valentine's day he was deployed, which was our first one as a couple but this past v day was our first one that we were actually together.... and he got me nothing... not even a card. And he hasn't said anything about it. When he was deployed I got a card, flowers, and sexy lingerie WTF...Babe I got him a a gift.Everyone else Just days b4 v day he was talking about getting me a gift, so I just thought it was weird that he had nothing. I understand him being here should be enough but he always make a big deal about our " holidays" 2gether. Im not mad and I never express me being upset to him. I just thought it was weird.ignore the mistakes lol
He scheduled a "guys" week long trip for this week which would have been our first valentine's day together.
My boyfriend just broke up with me a couple of weeks ago and blamed the whole thing on me in so many words. I was devastated and really couldn't understand why he wouldn't forgive me for something that most people would understand. That was it and he was done with me. The thing I don't understand is that in November he scheduled a " guys only" trip for a week in february but wouldn't tell me when he was going and just kept asking me why I wanted to know. Well it turns out that he left on Saturday yesterday and he had intended this whole time to not be with me on what would have been our very first Valentine's day together. I find this out and I am so pissed. How could he have blamed me for ruining our relationship if he had planned to go away on this trip on our first valentine's day together? I am so upset and confused. He makes no sense
Should you expect a valentine's day gift on your first valentine's together?
I told my girlfriend a month ago that it was my first real valentine. I am in my mid 20s and never had a girlfriend. So this valentine I had high hopes, but that morning she calls to tell me she doesnt want to meet. I tell her it's okay but then she changes her mind about an hour later and makes me dinner. No present though. I told her I kind of was expecting a present, nothing expensive, but something for my first Valentine, but she didnt get me anything. My family asked what she gave me, I told her that, and yet I still havent gotten one. She tried to make it up with a weekend getaway but now she's talking about postponing it until who knows when. I feel pretty pathetic right about now.
